Baron’s court is a popular area located in West London with lots of green areas and is currently one of the trending spots for first time buyers and young people wanting to start living in London, but perhaps find the city centre as bit too overwhelming.

The area consists mainly of Victorian terraced houses and is located close to the Royal Borough of Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham and Hammersmith, very handy for commuters or visitors. Visit Baron’s Court offers you the opportunity to experience everything from the local history, theatre and a number of restaurants and notable trendy high end bars and small clubs. You can really find anything you are looking for in this splendid area.

The railway station in Baron’s court first opened its doors in 1874 under the name district rail way (not district line) and it opened the connections between Hammersmith and Earls Court which is one of the most significant developments in the history of London. The area started to grow quickly and there was soon a huge demand for suitable transportation links.
Many people mistakenly believe that the name Baron’s Court is inspired by Earls Court but that is not the case. Some historian note that it probably got its name from the Baren’s Court estate in Ireland where sir Willian Palliser named his entire estate after family members.
